Personally, I find that these question guide and checklists would be very valuable in shaping psychoeducation because it would give us information that we would not typically ask in a general conversation, and keeps the client, family, and all the health care workers in the loop about what is going on. It also helps create a clear indication of which goals have been met and which ones are in progress. I also think that it gives the client and the family a more clear representation of all the information needed to work on goals, and which goals we are working towards as a team. I think that this can also reduce stigma and help normalize and validate the family’s feelings around the process
