Its tough when a client is not on board for taking the medication. It sounds everyone does the right thing and offers psychoeducation and keep checking in, seeing if symptoms are present and explore what they are doing to care for themselves, only one of the things we can do. Most of our services are voluntary and I find the time will come when the client states they are ready and we meet them at where they are at. I find most of the youth I work with, do not like needles or they are forgetful to take the medication on a consistent basis, it is a never ending challenge.
